Director of Transfusion Medicine
We are seeking a pathologist with subspecialty training in Transfusion Medicine. The individual selected will join a large collegial, academic department in a comprehensive, emerging health sciences center and have an opportunity to be affiliated with the adjacent Sylvan N. Goldman Center Oklahoma Blood Institute, the 10th largest non-profit regional blood center in the United States.
An applicant must possess an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree and be eligible for medical licensure in Oklahoma. Board certification or eligibility in transfusion medicine and CP or AP/CP Board certification, plus sufficient training and/or experience and appropriate board certification to competently provide services in another area of the clinical laboratory are also required. This faculty position, at assistant to professor rank, is primarily to provide clinical services at the OU Medical Center and adjacent VA Medical Center; however, participation in academic and scholarly activities such as resident and medical student teaching and collaborative research is expected.

Clinical Pathologist
We are seeking a clinical pathologist to join a large collegial, academic department in an expanding comprehensive health sciences center with a laboratory recognized as a leader in laboratory automation. CYTOPATHOLOGIST
This faculty position, at assistant to associate professor rank, provides an opportunity to be a part of a large collegial, academic department in a comprehensive, emerging health sciences center. Board certification or eligibility in cytopathology and AP or AP/CP, training or experience in FNA performance, and eligibility for medical licensure in Oklahoma are required. Interest or experience in gynecologic pathology is desired. Additional responsibilities will include participation in the surgical pathology service, resident and medical student teaching, and development of individual and/or collaborative research.

HLA Director
The position provides an opportunity to work in the academic environment of a comprehensive and expanding health sciences center and a newly constructed laboratory and to direct the only HLA Laboratory supporting multiple transplant programs in the area. Applicant must possess a Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree, and meet CLIA’88 requirements to serve as the Director, Technical Supervisor, and Clinical Consultant for an HLA/Tissue Transplant Laboratory. Applicant must be approved by the ASHI Director Training Review and Credentialing Committee for the following areas: HSC/BM transplantation (related/unrelated donor), solid organ transplantation (deceased/living donor), disease-association testing, and transfusion support. Applicant must also be approved for the following technologies: serology typing (Class I & II), and DNA testing (low & high resolution SSP). Approval to direct sequencing and flow cytometry testing is desirable. Responsibilities will be to ensure quality results, communicate with clients, and appropriately train staff. Additional responsibilities will include participation in resident and medical student teaching and development of individual and/or collaborative research. Faculty appointment is open at the rank of assistant professor to professor and will be based on prior record of achievement.
